Computer hardware:
INPUT:
An input device is any peripheral (piece of computer hardware equipment)
used to provide data and control signals to an information processing
system (such as a computer)
keyboard-a device to input text and characters by depressing buttons

Pointing devices: mouse, optical mouse (uses lasers, LEDs to track the

OCR(optical character recognization), the mechanical or electronic
translation of images of handwritten, typewritten or printed text into

), MICR (magnetic ink character recognition, a technologg used in
banking to facilitate the processing of cheques.it allows computer ,

printed documents. Unlike barcodes, MICR (magnetic resonance imaging is
primarily a medical imaging technique used in radiology to visualize the
internal structure and function of the body)
Audio input devices: microphone - an acoustic sensor that provides input
by converting sound into electrical signals.
